Passed Armed Forces locations to ruscists: deputy director of educational institution detained in Sumy region - SSU. PHOTO

The Security Service of Ukraine detained a deputy director of an educational institution in Sumy region who was passing information on the deployment and movement of the Ukrainian Defence Forces to Russian occupiers.

This was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine, Censor.NET informs.

According to the SSU, the offender lived in a frontline village and was waiting for the occupation of the region by Russian troops. In his comments on telegram channels, he openly supported the invaders, which attracted the attention of Russian special services.

Under the guise of personal trips, he travelled around the border area, took photographs of military facilities and collected the coordinates of the reserve command posts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He summarised the data in reports and passed them on to his Russian supervisor.

Ukraine's special services detained the informant and prevented him from passing relevant data to the enemy. During the searches, the SSU seized his mobile phone, computer and flash drives with evidence of criminal activity.

The detainee was served a notice of suspicion, and the court remanded him in custody without bail.
