Poland and South Korea sign a memorandum on joint work to restore Ukraine


On Thursday, July 13, Polish President Andrzej Duda and South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of post-war reconstruction of Ukraine. This was reported by the South Korean edition of The Chosun Ilbo. Informs Mind.


The Korean president paid an official visit to Poland. The leaders of the two countries held a high-level meeting at the Presidential Palace in Warsaw.


During the meeting, Yoon Suk Yeol and Andrzej Duda signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation in the field of Ukraine's recovery. However, the details of this memorandum have not yet been disclosed.


In addition, bilateral cooperation between the two countries, as stated by President Yoon Suk Yeol, includes Korean participation in the construction of a nuclear power plant and the Central Communication Port in Poland.


After his talks with President Duda, Yoon Suk Yeol declared South Korea's readiness to participate in the Polish nuclear power plant project.


"We have worked out an agreement on close cooperation in the construction of nuclear power plants, which can ensure energy security and achieve carbon neutrality," the Korean president said.


Yoon Suk Yeol also expressed support for South Korean companies that want to join Polish infrastructure projects, particularly in the field of railroad development.
