The Ministry of Energy on Monday said that as a result of a massive rocket attack from Russia, which occurred on the night of May 1 and led to serious damage to the power grid infrastructure in the Dnepropetrovsk and Kherson regions. Informs Freedom Matrix.
Distribution networks were significantly damaged, which led to a blackout of some consumers in Dnipro and Kherson, where more than 11 thousand and 7.1 thousand subscribers were left without electricity, respectively. At the same time, the objects generating electricity were not affected. However, it will take several days for the power grid to be fully restored. The ministry also notes that over the past 24 hours, more than 7,000 subscribers in the Donetsk region and about 3,000 in the Sumy region have again received access to electricity.
