On the night of November 25, the Russian army launched a massive attack on Ukraine, using Shahed strike drones and unidentified UAVs. The assault was conducted from Russian territory (Oryol, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk), temporarily occupied Crimea and other directions, reports the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. RBC-Ukraine informs.

Throughout the night, the Air Force's radio-technical troops detected and tracked 145 enemy drones. Aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare (EW) systems, and mobile fire groups were involved in repelling the attack.

As of 11:00 a.m. Kyiv time, air defense forces had shot down 71 enemy drones over the Kyiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions.

Another 71 drones were neutralized due to active EW measures, and one drone returned to Belarus.

The Air Force noted that on November 24, the occupiers resumed attacks, using various types of drones, guided aerial bombs, and Kh-59/69 missiles. The aggressor's new tactic involved deploying drones not only at night but also during the daytime.
